e mail addresses/links

  I have added e mail addresses to my blog but they are not highlighted. Why?

  If you want the email address to automatically open the surfers mail you need to to that in code. mailto: address here.

  BUT – I’m not sure if it’s a good idea – little robots scan the web for addresses to send spam to….Be careful of this! You’ll drown in rubbish.

  Thanks Boblets. They’re just link addressess. Is that what you mean? Doesn’t everyone have these?

  Oh, you mean links, not e-mails! Then forget the last comment.

  I see – well – in the editor (if this is in a post) you highlight the words you want hyperlinked, then press the link-button, and insert url (web address) in the pop-up box.

  If you mean links in blogroll (in a sidebar) you must add a blogroll widget, then go to links on your dashboard and add urls.
  Makes sense?
