e-mail change

  I have recently changed my contact e-mail address. There’s a window that says it’s pending. Since I changed it last Thursday, how long will it take to change since today is Monday?
  Also, my following notifications are not arriving yet. I suppose that has to do with my “pending” e-mail. Do I need to re-follow everyone?

  Hi georgettesullins,

  When you change your contact email address, you will receive an email at the new address requesting that you confirm the change. You will need to click the link in that confirmation email — until then, the change will be pending and the new email address won’t be active in your account. (Once you confirm it, you will start receiving email notifications as usual at the new address.)

  You can cancel the pending change and enter the new email address again to resend the confirmation email. Please check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox. If you have any questions about this or if you don’t receive the confirmation email, please let me know!
