E-mail change for login
-
I created a new blog, not knowing that I had an old one. I deleted the new one, and am having trouble changing my e-mail on the old one. New one is (email visible only to moderators and staff), old one is (email visible only to moderators and staff). How long does it take for a cancelled blog to get removed? My gieg.ca e-mail will be non-existent as of May, so I’m hoping I can change it before then.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account. You can create one gravatar for every username account that applies to all blogs registered under the same username account and email address.

https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/There is a single email address that can be used on only one wordpress.COM username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account.
The wordpress.COM blog’s owner can change the relevant email address on their accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account at any time.

Each of these email addresses is connected to a WordPress.com account already. Each account requires a unique email. In order to reuse one of these emails you’ll need to change the address to one that is not already in use within WordPress.com. That will free it up to be used on another account.
