e-mail comments notification for readers

  One of my readers asked me to activate the option for receiving comments notification via e-mail. Is that possible on WP or not. If it is possible, how to do it? Thanks!

  oh, wait. do you mean to send you an e-mail notification whenever someone comments in your blog? that’s dashboard -> options -> discussion

  I haven’t tried it with comments, but I use feedburner.com at my own site to send out automatic emails when I post a new update. I suspect it would work. Sign up and post the html code to you page.

  sorry for the confusion, i thought i read wrong the first time. there are no options to notify readers by email when you reply to their comments at wp.com.

  As far as I understand feedburner can send e-mails to the readers if you have a new post.

  Is it possible to send them e-mail notifications if there are comment’s updates on a post they found interesting.

  i don’t use feedburner, but as far as i know, it only sends emails for your latest posts, not when you reply comments. the only way to do this is manually.
