E-mail failure

  for the last three days when i get an e-mail notification of a new post or comment, the e-mail is blank. I thought it might be my e-mail client but i have asked others and they are having the same problem.

  Hi,

  We pushed out a fix for this – could you let me know if this is still happening today?

  If so, can you tell me what operating system and email client (or web browser) are you using to access your email?

  Thank You for your reply!
  I cannot answer that question until an new Blog Post goes up tomorrow. The one I posted today (that I wrote) came to my e-mail blank however the comment replies that i am getting (because I wrote this blog) are coming in just fine. I have other administraters who post on my blog and for the last three days their posts have came in blank and all comments to their posts have came in blank. I asked the administrater if they were getting blank e-mails from RA too and one of the said yes. the others have not replied yet.

  I use hotmail dot come but i also have it coming through incredimail. I hope this helps and i will let you know if it is still happening as soon as a new blog goes up (around midnight my time)

  Also if someone “Likes” a post it is alsocomin in blank through e-mail. I don’t know if this helps any but i just remembered that. Someone “liked” my post today and yes it did come in as a blank e-mail.

  I am subscribed to two other WordPress blogs and everytime they post a new blog their e-mail notifications are also coming in blank. I asked another member of My blog and she too is having the same problem but has a different e-mail client. Just ;etting you know as the information comes to me.

  It looks like the fix only worked for a few folks. We’re still looking into this.

  just to let you know, a new post went up and it too came to me as a blank e-mail. it also had a comment on it that needed modertion and it came in blank as well.

  Are the emails also blank through Hotmail’s webmail interface?

  actually no they are not. I can see them through hotmail However one of my members is having the same problem and she is usuing AOL.com

  That’s good to know. AOL and incredimail seem to be the two with problems right now. We’re still working on a fix.
