E-mail field not showing on General Settings

Hello, Yesterday i was changing the “Blog Picture / Icon” on General Settings and the email field was correct and visible, today the field doesn’t even appear at all, and every time i save changes it shows an error “The email address entered did not appear to be a valid email address. Please enter a valid email address.” but i can’t change it or modify it at all because the option it’s not there. How do i fix this?

Please contact us privately at this e-mail address (using your current e-mail address) and let us know the new e-mail address you want to use instead.

I don’t want to use a new e-mail, it’s just that every time I want to change anything in that section (e.g. blog Picture) I get that error and nothing changes.

The issue should be fixed now. The e-mail address field has recently been removed from the Settings -> Generals page.
If you don’t see the change yet or still getting an error message, please try clearing out your browser cache.

So – where did the email address field go to?? – there have been several people looking for it in the forum the last few days and at least two of them had read the support doc’s which they said had not been updated.

The support document has already been updated. You can update your email address in your Account Settings, or in your Personal Settings under Users → Personal Settings in your dashboard.

So the two email settings have been unified into a single email location and settings?

There were 3 locations where you were able to change the e-mail address, now there are just two.
