E-Mail HTML
-
My posts contain HTML in them and when emails are sent out, the code is included in the email rather than the content. I was wondering if there was a way around this? It would help in answering this question if you see what i mean. http://www.iheardfirst.com or here is an example of the code used:
Information:
[box]I was going to hold this post off until Saturday, but holy shit, I can’t wait anymore. I had to share this beautiful, amazing, mind-blowing track with you. Maybe because the word “sex” is in the title, or maybe it’s because its fresh as hell. You’ll understand what I mean the second you start this track. Do it. Now. This is a typical Posner song too, but it still works. [/box]

It sounds like you’re using the Jetpack Subscriptions feature, is this correct?
If so, can you confirm that you’re using the most up-to-date version of Jetpack? It should be Jetpack version 1.2.1.
Would you be able to send us a screenshot of the email you received with the HTML?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/Additionally, could you provide us with a few more details regarding your webmail client and the Internet browser you’re using to view your emails?

Yep! Jetpack subscriptions feature is correct. And yes, I am using the most up-to-date version (1.2.1). Here is a screenshot of the email I am receiving:
I am using Chrome web browser, and Outlook for my email as well as Gmail occasionally. Thanks for your help thus far.

We’re still looking into this overall. Just out of curiosity, do you have any better luck with the latest version of Jetpack, 1.2.2?
-
Jetpack currently does not parse all shortcodes when sending emails for subscriptions.
We’ll add this to our list of things to look in to.
