E-mail in contact form
-
When I create a contact form for my blog, the field that says “E-mail” displays my own e-mail address, that I have as the default e-mail to my blog. How do I make the contact form field “E-mail” empty? The point of having a contact form is to avoid people gaining access to your e-mail, right?
Thanks!

No one can see that information except you and that’s only because you have not logged out and cleared your browser cache and cookies.
Note someone makes a comment on your blog, the next time they come to your blog, unless they have cleared their cookies, WordPress.com will recognize them and complete the details for them. No one else will be able to view those details in comment boxes or in contact forms. The next person who comments will see blank fields. Commenters will not see each others details.
Also note that the Admin [edit] link is only for your convenience and the convenience of your Editors, if you have any. And only you and your editors can see it and use it while you are logged in to WordPress.com.
