E-mail isn't updating

Hello,
I’m trying to change my e-mail from ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ to ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’, but it’s not updating. The second e-mail, the one i want to use it, it’s was previously attached to another account (one that i created by mistake, cause i didn’t knew that i already had one). I logged into the second account that was with ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ and changed to ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’, in order to unlink the e-mail and use it on this account. But it’s not working, it doesn’t update, and i can still log-in in the account that now is holding the yahoo mail with the outlook mail, i can log with both, which shouldn’t happen.

There is a single email address that can be used on only one wordpress.COM username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account.
The wordpress.COM blog’s owner can change the relevant email address on their accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account at any time. A confirmation email will be sent to that address.

Thanks, i asked moderator to see what’s happening.
I receive the e-mail, i click the link and the e-mail remains the old one. It’s weird cause one account should have one e-mail only, but i can log-in with both e-mails (yahoo and outlook) to the other accout (the one i don’t want to use it, but have the e-mail i want for this one).

Hi @alstreim14, I noticed that first address you mentioned is no longer in use. So to fix this, log in as the user that should have that address, request the change, then look in that a******@o*****.com address for the confirmation email. Click that link.
