e-mail notification

  Hello folks
  Newbie here! I’m quite happy posting with my new blog. One thing, when I create my new post with pics etc and publish it, it arrives fine with all the followers but most read it all there in their Inbox without clicking through to the main site so missing out on the theme etc. It just makes the whole thing look like an e-mail. Is there a way of publishing an alert with an invitation to click through to the latest post? Did I make sense here?

  Hi Trevor,

  The email your subscribers by default includes a direct link to your post but you can try to use the excerpt feature on your posts so that email only includes a portion of the post. You can find instructions here:
