E-mail notifications

  Hello. I have several ?s.
  First, My readers are having a difficult time signing up to receive an e-mail notification when I post a new ‘post’. I think I have it set up, but apparently not, since they are not receiving a notification. Other readers do get an email notifications. They check their spam, but it is not there.
  2nd, Is there a way to identify the readers who view my post?
  3rd, when an email announces a new post, can I personalize it by saying (Example) ‘Carole, a new post is available on ‘reflectionsoftheheart.net’
