E-mail ownership
-
Hi, I have taken over the administration of my club’s WordPress website and see in the DNS settings that e-mail was also provided. Unfortunately, this was put together back in 2018 and no one knows who originally set up or where the Office 365 credentials are. I have had to provide 3 or 4 pieces of identification in the past for situations like this but don’t remember exactly what information and to whom to send it to. In the past it was directly to MS because MS direct is where the Office 365 was gotten. This is from WordPress. Does anyone know to whom this should go to in WP and what info they require to make. We are prepared to provide the President’s information, driver’s license, Request via Letterhead, etc… Would appreciate the help.

Hey there @grkwebsiteeditor, I’d still contact Microsoft directly for this one. We can help in cases where we were the reseller (like we are with Google Workspace or Titan) but these Office 365 seats weren’t bought through us, even though we did help set up the domain to work with them.
Can you go ahead and reach out to them? If they say it was purchased through a reseller, see if you can find out which one.
