e mail widget isn't working?

  The widget box for taking an e mail address for subscriptions to my site isn’t working. It simply will not take an e mail address. Could someone help me with this? Thank you!

  Hello there!

  I just tried out the email widget on your site, and it appears to be working well!

  I suspect you’re looking at your site while you’re logged into WordPress.com. When this is the case, there is only a button to press to subscribe, since WordPress.com already knows the user’s WordPress.com email address.

  However, if you log out of WordPress.com and take a look at your site, you would see this:
