We have spoken before but I am still not able through any of my support team to be able to resolve what appears to be a circular ref issue:
I have to websites – profile-p.com and profile-p.co.uk
Each has its own website although i believe that .co.uk is no longer active
I am rebranding .com and my designer is working with an SEO guy to get us up the rankings.
I have one e-mail address: (email visible only to moderators and staff) but i also need (email visible only to moderators and staff). There appears to be a forward link on the profile-p.co.uk of john to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
BOTH if these sites need the forward link from john to johns on that site – ie .com and uk
I can only get into my wordpress site management if i use a link i cannot give to my site manager because i still dont know my password – and even using my google link – there is confusion ref which site i can manage.
Now I have a headache and no pills left – AAARGH – can you assist please
My site manager is: Steven G James who has my permission to change anything for me, as you can tell I am non techMany thanks – John Shenton
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: Unknown -
Hello John,
Many thanks for reaching out.
When I look at the DNS settings of profile-p.com they’re not pointing to WordPress.com.
This means the current site and email forwarding is being managed elsewhere, not with WordPress.com. I also can’t see that profile-p.co.uk is managed by WordPress.com also.
In any case, I can’t see this domain is with this particular WordPress.com account. Are you looking to host the new rebranded site with WordPress.com – if yes, we can help with account recovery and any features that you may require.
