E-Mails don't arrive at (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  I have an email adress, (email visible only to moderators and staff) but emails don’t arrive. I most certainly did something with the settings wrong, but i don’t know what. Can you please helöp me?

  Hi Kevin,

  When your domain is pointed to WordPress.com, you have two options for email: You can use our Email Forwarding service, or you can use an email service from another email provider.

  Do you already have email service with another email provider? If so, you can follow our guide to Add Email through other providers to set that up on your domain.

  I can help you with that process, but I’ll need to know what DNS records your email provider uses for their email service. You can ask them for those records with a message like this:

  My domain kevinsilvergieter.de is pointed to WordPress.com to host my website there. Could you please provide me with the complete MX and/or other DNS records I will need to enter on WordPress.com’s end, so that my email on this domain will function?

  You can let me know what your email provider tells you, and I can help you set that up here at WordPress.com.

  Or, if you decide you want to use our email forwarding service instead, I can also help you set that up. :)

  thank you very much for your reply. i gave my provider these records:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

  Hi Kevin,

  Those records point your domain to WordPress.com, but I will need to know what records your provider uses for their email service, so they can be added on this end. (The records that are currently set up on your domain won’t work for email service.)

  i called them and they said the records are mail.kevinsilvergieter.de

  does that help??

  Hi Kevin,

  That record won’t work when your domain’s name servers are pointed to WordPress.com, unless your email provider has other records to point mail.kevinsilvergieter.de to their mail servers. Can you please contact them again and make sure their email service will work when your domain is pointed to WordPress.com?
