E-mails going to subscribers a day late

A significant number of subscribers to my blog are reporting that they receive the daily reflections (posts) a day late. Why is this? How can I fix it?

I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting. Staff will require at least a couple of email address (the software will HIDE them when you post them here so only Staff can see them) or a couple of usernames to trace what’s going on.

Two people who have subscribed that I know are experiencing this issue:

This is because they are set to use daily digest emails. This bundles all posts from your site in to one email a day. The emails are delivered the next day and include the prior day’s posts.
The setting can be changed to “Instant” emails here. That will send an email once a new post is published.
