  Can I use PDF files to make pages on WordPress ?

  PDFs cannot be directly displayed in a wordpress.COM site since wordpress does not have any sort of interpreter. You can upload PDFs and link to them in pages or posts, or even in a text widget in the sidebar and then people can click on them and as long as they have a PDF viewer of some sort associated with their browser it will open in the browser. If they do not, then typically the file will download so that they can open it and view it in a separate PDF viewer on their computer.

  Actually I just remembered, you can use Scribd to display PDFs in pages or posts.
