Each article in feed setting not honored in the Reader when set to summary.
-
Information taken from this support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/reading-settings/
For each article in a feed you can select Full text or Summary. Full text means that the entire contents of a post are included in the feed. Summary means that only the first 55 words are included in the feed, along with the option to continue reading the rest of the post.
In the past when this was set to summary, the official Reader would only show the brief summary but currently it is now showing the whole post. Because I use custom inline HTML styling, it is very important that people actually go to my blog versus reading it only in the reader. (Unless the reader adds support for custom HTML tags, I’d be okay with that).
I have noticed this happening on two my blogs. (other blog greenembe.rs)
Is this feature no longer compatible with the current framework or a known issue? I’ve tried searching to see but could not find anything relating to it (hence why I am posting here).
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
