Earlier Blog Posts Get Bumped When I Post New Ones

Anybody know why earlier blog posts get bumped when you post new ones? I posted one or two new posts today and I suddenly “lost” all the posts I had posted from March 6 to March 26, or so it seemed, yet I found them in the March Archive.
I just want my blog to read in reverse chronological order, with nothing getting bumped.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your blog looks normal to me – most recent at the top of the page – that is standard “blog” behavior” – this keeps fresh content at the top where your visitors will see it first

Reverse chronological order means newest at top. That means when you make a new post, it will appear at the top and push the previous posts down.

A blog is by design a reverse chronological order publishing tool that places the most recent published post on top and do note that this cannot be reversed. Like auxclass has said your blog is functioning normally. Readers come to blog to read the most recent content. In an established blog there no way that readers would ever want to click thorugh hundreds of post to locate the most recent one.

Thanks for the reply. I know the point of reverse chronological order. But this starts with today’s posts, goes backward to about March 26, then drops out completely until March 5, then proceeds to go backward from there.
Those posts (about 20 of them) between March 5 and March 26 have been dropped and do not applear on the blog roll.
Why would it continue backward from March 5 but not show those between March 26 and March 5?

Have you checked your timezone and date settings just in case they are off?
