Stuff Google in the end of the pipe? I’m surprised that I haven’t seen adsense on the live feeds from the ROV’s working on the sea floor.
-
I don’t know, How I landed in here.
It makes me confuse a little bit. I inquire an ISP about domain. They told me to pay them 10$ a month and they will register a domain. Now if they are registering my domain, Why would I need wordpress.org software to be installed on my Blog or page.
If my domain is registered through that ISP, Do I still need godaddy.com services.
If I don’t register with that ISP for a domain, How much it will cost me to upgrade my wordpress.com in here.
So many questions :)

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and very different. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/If you purchase a domain name and domain mapping and still have wordpress.com free host your blog for you then nothing changes. You still cannot advertise on the free hosted blog..
Before Upgrading
The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable the permission to use advertising, any kind of prohibited code, or upload additional themes and plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and must still abide by our Terms of Service accordingly. -
Hosting websites on your own is complicated no doubt. This is why you are better off checking with any knowledgeable friend or personal contact. Do not buy anything from your ISP just because they’re closest to you or may be convenient.

I’ve had reasonably good luck with godaddy, bluehost and hostgator. They all seem to do a reasonably good job of keeping things running and the technical support is good.
Personally I use A Small Orange, the “Small” shared hosting package, and have been very happy with them. Their technical support is top notch and there uptime is better than most in my experience, and their prices are very good. I can highly recommend them and have 5 web clients that are using them as well.

@thepmpguru
There is nothing to be confused about. You buy a domain name and that’s all you get – a domain name. You buy domain mapping and that’s all you get – domain mapping that ensures your visitors are seamlessly transferred from the wordpress.COM root blog to the URLs to the same posts on the domain.Every upgrade is only for what it clearly states. there are no additional perks. Each one is specific and applies to only one blog, and must be renewed annually.
There is no upgrade you can buy so you can have advertising on your blog. The only exception is for very high traffic blogs that apply and qualify to pay for VIP hosting.

This thread went off track long ago and I apologize for that. I did in fact provide the correct information here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/earn-income?replies=31#post-472817
If you want a monetized blog you are in the wrong place. No retailing or reselling is allowed here and there are other restrictions as well. So you will need to hire a web host and run software from wordpress.ORG. Here at wordpress.COM the types of blogs allowed and not allowed are clearly defined > http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/ In addition only very high traffic blogs in the paid VIP hosting program and/or in the AdControl program can run advertising http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/

I am sorry for troubling you as the topic was started for something else
(To Earn Money :))
and I divert it to having a domain of our own..Thanks timethief

No problem. Having a domain of your own with domain mapping and having wordpress.COM free host it for you is IMO a very good option for those of use who aren’t into advertising and/or who lack the skills to manage their own wordpress.ORG installs on our own.
