  Hi there — image ads or third-party advertising like AdSense aren’t allowed on a blog hosted on WordPress.com: http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/

  For WordPress.com bloggers with moderate to high traffic and appropriate content, there is a program called WordAds: http://wordads.co/

  If you are self-hosted and manage your own WordPress installation (using the software at https://wordpress.org/), you can run ads.
