Easiest or best way to add images to sidebar
-
When I add images to my sidebar from my media library it appears that what I do is paste the image URL from the library into the image widget. I also want to make sure that I add all of the alt text and caption data. Do I have to cut and paste each line of info by hand or is there some way that I can automatically load the image and all of the data that I already entered when I first added the image to the library?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The site linked to your name is not a wordpress.com blog
( http://www.zazzle.com/campfireshop )
and http://campfireshop.wordpress.com/ has been deleted. Please give us a link to the blog you are asking about, starting with http://
so we can take a look.In the mean time, and assuming you are asking about a wordpress.com blog, you could take a look at this:

With the image widget you will have to put in all the information again.
But if you have entered title, caption, alignment, width, height, and so on when you uploaded the picture, you can insert it into a draft post or page then switch to html and copy that into a text widget.
`If you are using captions, the code you need to copy
begins with [caption id …………
and ends with ……… [/caption]‘
