easiest way to send ebook to new email subscribers

  I’ve got an e-book ready to send to new e-mail subscribers…but am finding the process very convoluted and defeating to get it out. I’ve got it downloaded on a private Media page, and I have a MailChimp account. To be specific…

  a) is there any way to extract email subscribers from the email widget, so I can reward my current subscribers as well–and they don’t have to subscribe twice?
  b) if I have followers subscribe via MailChimp and delete the widget, will those current subscribers still receive my new blog posts? Same question for WordPress followers.
  c) is there any easier way to do this, particularly low- or no-cost (considering my blog is still quite small)? I’ve invested so many hours, and am quite discouraged.
