easy add Google Translate to website
-
Hello! We are currently a Spanish-based organization and we were able to fix the language thanks to your team! Anyway, we would like to add GOOGLE TRANSLATE button in our website so that it can be translate-ready for our partners and visitors who speak other languages, like German, French, Italian, English, etc. Our organization has international partners and don’t speak Spanish. So the GOOGLE Translate tool could really help! However, we are not so techy persons. Although i have looked into some of the forums ways to do this, it is still complicated and I don’t understand those.
Will really need your help on giving us a very detailed and layman’s term step-by-step guide to adding GOOGLE TRANSLATE into our website. Please help and looking forward to your reply! :) Godspeed!

Hello there! In order to install Google Translate on your site, you’d have to move to a self-hosted version of WordPress. We can’t allow third-party plugins to be installed on sites hosted at WordPress.com. It would become a security issue, as we can’t police the quality of outside coding.
We have a moderator on our forums who has come up with a work-around solution that might suit you:
