easy question….multiple blogs

    Over at Blogger I have four separate blogs (general, music, local, writing, etc) all controlled from the same dashboard, and the “Create a Blog” function is clearly visible. I would like to have multiple blogs on WP but for the life of me I cannot find out how to create a new blog from the Dashboard. I’m sure it is simple and I’m missing it. Any help?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You need to go to the main page of WordPress (just wordpress.com) and click the “Register Another Blog” link. Just copy & paste this URL:
    http://wordpress.com/signup/?ref=anotherblog

    Thanks a lot! I have to say that while WP seems more flexible and powerful than Blogger there are definitely some things (like this) that are clunkier.

    As i’m going to be using Word press for all my own web sites,
    this multi-blog thing is a definitely good feature!
    Thansk for adding this!
    And blogger’s ok, but Word Press is the only service that doesn’t need a capcha for signing up with blogs or web sites or anything!
    Way da go!
    I do know several blind folks, like myself, that use word press for there blogging.

    Wordpress.com is great, and all of you have missed out on one of the simple bonus features available to you:
    How to link your nicknames to your blogs 

    Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to 'contact info'. In the spot where it says 'website' fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
Now... when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won't have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.
