Easy, tiger. This is a 404 page.

All my pages have disappeared, with this in their place ” Easy, tiger. This is a 404 page.
You are totally in the wrong place. Do not pass GO; do not collect $200.”
I have searched the FAQs, and see that other people have had this problem, but no-one seems to have discovered why/how and what to do about it?
And help?
thanks -

I’ve just checked my blog again, and when I view it, and open the pages, they still come up with the same error message! Checked from a different computer, same error message. But when I go into manage pages, the pages are indeed there! It’s when viewing them that I get the error. Very odd indeed!

It looks like the URI is broken. When I try to go to one of your pages, the URI that comes up in the address bar is
http://gailjennings.wordpress.com//bicycling-empowerment-network-annual-report-2007/If I recall correctly, the second “//” is not valid – there should be something between the two slashes, or only one slash.

Oddly enough, when I try going directly to the page by putting
http://gailjennings.wordpress.com/bicycling-empowerment-network-annual-report-2007/
in the address bar, it redirects it to the (invalid) version with two slashes and gives the 404 error.On a guess, I’d say the page may be marked as a subpage, but that it’s parent page has been deleted (or maybe not published). The URI for a subpage generally looks like this:
http://blogname.wordpress.com/page/subpage/ -
I’d be using the Contact Support button in the Admin bar.
FWIW-I can see your missing Pages in Google’s cache of your site if I remove the extra backslash between .com/ and the Page name before doing the search.

@gailjennings,
Here is the link to contact staff… :)

PS – just for interest, the Contact Support doesn’t appear to work on my system, I think the time-zone difference might have something to do with it!

Thanks SO much everyone – I’ve worked it out thanks to your input. One of my parent pages was unpublished (I had two of the same name), deleted the one, published the other, and all is sorted!
