Easy way to modify themes offered on wordpress.com

    I have a site that has a nice photo for a header. There are two themes I’d have liked to have used. They are Benevolence and Contempt. My problem is, I can’t modify the background color to better fit the photo header. Plus, I wanted to use a more readable font at a somewhat larger size.

    It would have been nice to do more than have a customizable header. Yes, there is Sandbox but I am not proficient with CSS. Plus, I am told I can’t use Dreamweaver to help with the modification. Gee, no way to visually check what I’m doing?

    Why not create a front end tool that lets me make modifications to the things I mentioned. The same would go for the fonts and color used for the sidebar items – the widgets.
