There is no FTP access and we bloggers cannot install any plugins into WordPress.com blogs.

Yes, that is what I posted this for. On that second link that you shared (which is how I found this forum) they said to post where the content was able to be downloaded, which is why I added the link.

As a food blogger, I would LOVE to have a recipe plugin on wordpress.com to help with creating nice looking recipes, and even add nutritional information to my post. I’m sure most other food bloggers would agree. A highly rated one is EasyRecipe (http://wordpress.org/plugins/easyrecipe/) and I’d love to be able to use it on my blog.

No. The typical time from request to adding of a plugin is at least two years, so hold on.

I agree – would love the Recipe plugin. It was a main driver for me choosing WP over Blogger.
