Edda layout different in Preview

  Hi, I changed my layout to the new Edda theme and I noticed that while editing I wonderfully could see the Number of the Pages and after publishing, now I only see ‘Older’ posts.
  I really would love to have back the Numbered Pages…. Thanks in advance!

  Sorry anyone could help me?
  While editing the Edda layout, I can see the Numbered Pages (on then bottom of the blog) and soon as I save it, it is gone and says “Older”. The thing I want to avoid. Thanks.

  I am sorry no one got back to this ??
  How comes I changed the theme, and same thing happened, during editing it numbered the pages, after saving it says “older”. What is going on?? Can anyone get back to us free users too??

  Hi,
  I think it may be a bug somewhere causing the Customizer to show page numbers in the Edda theme when the published site shows “older posts”. I’ve tagged this thread for a staff member to have a look.

  Thank you! I changed the theme and same thing happened! Not sure why as this never happened before. :( :( :( Thanks in advance. It is already hard for me to pick a theme I would need/like.

  Hi there,

  The “Older Posts” button you mentioned is part of the Infinite Scroll feature that’s used on all modern themes at WordPress.com. However, that feature can cause some trouble in the customizer, when you’re previewing a theme, so for now our team has disabled the Infinite Scroll feature there — that’s why you see a different layout for viewing older posts when you’re in the customizer.

  We’re hoping to resolve that issue so the preview most closely matches what you see when you activate the theme on your site, but for now the best way to know how that will look is to check the theme demo site. For example, you can find the Edda theme demo here:

  Thank you for getting back to me. Sad to hear. I really was looking forward to a Numbered page navigation, since I have photographs, I like to be able to check back, navigate easily, etc. and on the dot.com version there aren’t too many modern gallery-photography themes for the moment. Also before, I had the same before and after customizing. Strange. Thanks anyway.
