Edda Theme Featured Image Question
-
So we love the Edda theme, we’ve found it to be almost exactly what we’re looking for in a free theme. The only issue we have is that it changes the color of the featured image until you scroll over it. Once you scroll over it, the image goes back to the original colors. My question is: is there any way to disable the way it changes the color?
Thanks!

Hi there,
I’m glad to hear you like the Edda theme so much!
There isn’t a built in way to disable the colour changes to your posts’ featured images on the home page.
It is possible to disable the effect with some custom CSS, however, the ability to add CSS is a custom design option that’s available as part of the WordPress.com Premium or Business plan.
Alternatively, you could have a browse through our theme repository for themes that are similar to Edda but don’t change the colour of the featured images. Twenty Fifteen, for example, is similar in its clean style:

Let me know if that information is helpful to you or if any extra questions come up.
