@shamanascape,
There’s no special trick to adding a header image with the Edda theme applied. You should be able to add one of the default header images at Customize > Header Image by simply clicking on an image and then clicking the Save & Publish button. You may also choose the “Randomize suggested headers” option that appears at the bottom of the default header images, then click Save & Publish.
See the Custom Header Image support page for information and instructions regarding adding a custom header image.

Thank you for your help. I do require to edit it, I have followed all the suggested and logical steps including the tutorial, but it still does not seem to work. The image itself is one that I taken myself, although I can’t see a problem with this. Any further advice would be great.

Hi shamanascape,
For static pages like your About page, you can set a Featured Image and it will appear at the top of the page.
The header image appears on the page that displays all blog posts, but since you are only using pages, you can use featured images instead.
