edging around photos
-
I’m in the process of starting up my site, and while doing a few test uploads of photos last night I noticed that, when insterted into the post, my photos have a blue edge (box/line) around them. Is there anyway to remove this as I really don’t like it?
Thanks -
That’s probably theme-dependent and might be changeable with the CSS upgrade, but without a link to your blog it’s impossible to say. How about it?

I’ve uploaded a pic just so you can see what I mean. Please tell me it can be changed. :) -
The reason you see the blue edge is that the image is hyperlinked. Since you picture is pretty big, you don’t really need to have it opened externally. I make it a point to unlink all images that for some reason my IE6 ignores it when I choose NONE at the Link URL box whereas this problem isn’t there with FireFox.
As a photographer, I like the Misty Look theme that includes a white border to images. However if you like the theme you’re using and want to add the white borders, you’ll need to purchase the CSS Upgrade and have someone help out with the CSS codes.

You can also fix this in a consistent way using custom CSS, although it would be a bit tricky. You’d probably need to add a class=”imagelink” (or whatever name you want to give the class) attribute to each tag that surrounds an <img> tag.
That way, you could get rid of the line without losing the image enlargement or the link.

Grr… let’s see if I can get my character entities right this time.
… to each tag that surrounds …

Okay, the posting process appears to be eating character entities in an unusual way around the letter ‘a’. That’s supposed to be an anchor tag.
