Edin downloaded looks nothing like demo
-
I really liked the live demo of the Edin theme, with its large header image and multiple horizontal sections as you scroll down. However, when I installed it, my blog looks NOTHING like this. It is a minimal blog with a picture of a boat in the first post. If I try to install a header image, it is very narrow and sits above the title.
The screen shot of the theme in the Add Theme page shows the beautiful blog I saw online in the Live Demo, but neither the Preview nor installed theme resembles this at all. Am I missing something? Is a huge amount of customization necessary to achieve the Demo look? I’m using BitNami as my local host and testing server.

Edin is designed by Automattic bit the support forum for the WordPress.ORG version of it is where you need to post to.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the Theme support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
