edin image behind text not working

  Hi, I’ve tried desperately to figure out how to create the EDIN Themed front page like the one in themed sample, but the text either appears ontop of the image with no sections below (front page style) or below the image (grid style). How do you get a front page that has the text on top of the image, but still has the grid page layout below it?
