  Hello,

  I would like to put the call to action button on the front page of the Edin theme and have it act as a “Subscribe” button. Any idea on what the link would be for that?

  Hi Rick,

  Hmm, good question. The subscribe button would be the Follow Blog Widget:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/

  The button in that widget performs an action, rather than links a user to another location, so it won’t really work for your purposes.

  What you could do is create a page with the default template so the sidebar shows. Then you could put your Follow Blog Widget in the sidebar of that page, and instructions and perhaps a contact form in the body (you could do this on your existing “have a question” page). Then make your front page call to action button link to that page.

  Does that make sense?

  There is also a follow-blog short code–http://en.support.wordpress.com/blog-subscription-shortcode/ but I wasn’t able to get it to work in place of a link, so I’m not sure it helps, but at least you could have the “follow” information in the middle of the page.
