Edin theme – feature page text preview

    Hi,

I am currently working on a new site using the Edin theme with the static front page.
Can someone advise how/if there’s a way to remove the preview text for the three feature pages below the home page’s feature picture?
I ideally just want the page title and the picture so you need to click through to access the text. Is this possible without a customization upgrade?

Here is the link (please excuse the sample images and incomplete content, I’ve just started)

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there!

I recreated your site using my test blog and I think I found a way to remove the preview text.

Let’s say we’ll use your About page as an example. Here’s what you can do:
    – Add a Read More tag at the top of the page’s content. Just before the Say hello to our team! part.
    – Here’s a screenshot of the Read More tag: http://snag.gy/hxSnJ.jpg
    – Then click Update.

As a result, the preview text will disappear below the featured image and will only display Read More which is already displayed even before you added the Read More tag.

If you need more information about your theme, you can visit it’s support documentation here: https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/edin/

    Hi elzrjose,

Thank you so much for your assistance, I’ve done it as you suggested and it’s worked perfectly.

    Thanks again! :)
