"Edin theme" front page not full width
-
I just switched to the Edin theme and, though I love it, I am having a slight problem… In comparison to the Edin theme demo blog (edindemo.wordpress.com), my front page is not full width. Just wondering if anyone knows why and/or how to fix it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We need to change the page template to Front Page Template.
Please check the detailed instructions in the Front Page Template section of the Edin theme support document.

Full width is just one of several page template options available with Edin. What template have you chosen for your front page?

Thank you for your responses.
chaitanyamsv – I have followed the detailed instructions on how to create a static front page. It worked, except that the page is not full width. Any idea why?
musicedoc1 – I know there is a full width template, but according to the Edin theme demo the front page template should also be full width…

@ kserasera14,
the front page template should also be full width
Yes, that is correct. Any page set to Front Page template on this theme is full width on my test website. What are you seeing on yours? Volunteers such as myself and chaitanyamsv cannot view your site because the visibility is set to private.

Thanks. I am glad to report that your front page, at https://connectedlifeblog.wordpress.com/, is displaying on my PC (12 X 9 ” (1024 X 768 resolution) at full-width with both the latest Firefox and Google Chrome browsers. If it is displaying at less than full-width for you I would guess that the reason might have to do with the device you are using to view it, or your browser settings.

Hmm that is strange, but good to hear! I am using Safari, so it is likely my browser.
Thank you for your help :)
