EDIN Theme: Front Page options
-
The EDIN Theme demo (http://edindemo.wordpress.com), seems to show in the Front page a combination of it’s Front Page Template and Grid Page Template (https://wordpress.com/themes/edin/).
However the Front Page Template doesn’t show me that option!
In my site I only could get the big leading image with text, but not the three optional featured page areas, nor the three optional widget areas.
Who do I get these?
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Got it.
The option to customize the three optional featured page areas for the front page is under:
Customize > Theme Options
The three optional widget areas for the front page:
Customize > Widgets: Front Page One / Two / Three
It would be more logical to have them under
Customize > Static Front Page
or
Customize > Front Page Optionsmy 2 cents!

Having the same issue, what widget did you use to get the picture and short written description like they have on the demo?
-
Hi Elingoldman,
For the description (About), you can use the text widget.
For the map and address I guest you have to install some other plugging…Let me know what you find out!

Hey Mixamli,
What I did was insert an image widget in the widget section of the front page and “stacked” them so it’s 3 long x 2 images high.
I inserted the URL of the page I wanted you to go to into the image widget as well.
My site isn’t done but check it our at http://elingoldman.wordpress.com/ if you’d like.
