Edin Theme – How do I hide featured Images on single post pages

  I found the content options in Customize and I unchecked all the likely boxes under featured images…so that only display on blog and archives is checked. But any time I add a featured image on a blog post it shows up on the published post.

  My goal is to have the featured images show with the excerpts on the /blog/ page, but stay hidden on the single post pages. Am I missing something?

  Oh, well never mind. This topic could have been avoided if preview was actually a display of what the live post will look like. Once I published and actually viewed the post the Featured image was gone on the single post page.
