Edin theme languages mixe-up

Hi,
Building a site for Italian friends. Started out with the interface set in Dutch. Changed it to Italian, and the widges I placed are still in Dutch. I tried throwing them away and reinstall while by VPN ‘being’ in Italy. Didn’t solve the problem. Also buttons like ‘edit’ are still in Dutch…
Help would be great! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question

Hi podererosignanoradicondoli,
The interface language for podererosignano840119640.wordpress.com is set to Italian, but the blog language is currently set to Dutch. This can be changed on your Settings page:
https://wordpress.com/settings/general/podererosignano840119640.wordpress.com
Scroll down to the “language” section and select Italian from the dropdown options.
I hope this helps!

Hi Gemmacevans,
Thank you for your reply.
Changing the language did something yes, but did not reolve all. The edit-text is now in Italian, so it looks like the interface language is completely changed in Italian. But, and this is kind of strange, not all the widgets changed to Italian…
The Facebook widget on the homepage (in the footer) is in Italian now, but the Google translate widget and de Google Maps widgets are still in Dutch.
Just to try I removed the Google translate widget and replaced it again, but it stayed Dutch. If you could help me with this last hiccup, I would be very greatfull.
Thanks again!

PS; might it be possible that the Google Widgets are in Dutch because I have created the site with my Gmail account, and Google overrules WP with my ‘personal preferences’, in this case Dutch…?

Google handle language settings for the Google Translate and Google Maps widgets. I see those widgets in English because I am signed into a Google account with English as the chosen language. And the same would apply if you are signed in to a Google account using Dutch — or your browsing location suggests that would be the correct language.
