  hello – i noticed this morning that i can no longer ‘drag and drop’ to rearrange pictures inside a post. any idea what’s going on?

  First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

  If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

  If it is, please do these two things:

  1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

  2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

  thanks for your answer!

  i tried with an updated google chrome, then an updated mozilla – no result.

  i disabled adblock – no result.

  i cleared all caches & cookies – no result

  when i try to edit a post and to “drag and drop to reorder”, items act like they’re attached to an elastic! they just go back to their initial place. this is more than inconvenient.

  any other ideas? i’ve had that blog for 5 years, and it never happened before.

  Hi there,

  WordPress 5.9.1 was released on WordPress.org yesterday containing the fix for this issue. All WordPress.com sites have already been updated with this new version, so reordering images in galleries should work again, but please let us know if you still have any issues with this.
