Hello, how do I delete the main admin?
I made my blog with the name foundyetalwayslost and then changed it to foundyetneverlost so I had to change the username and gmails as well. However, it won’t let me delete foundyetalwayslost as an admin even though I deleted that email address and it hasn’t sent a confirmation email to my new one. How do I delete the foundyetalwayslost admin?

The website has to be transferred to the foundyetneverlost account. The problem is that foundyetalwayslost is the username associated with the account that registered the website. Deleting the email associated with it does nothing to change the status of the account. foundyetalways lost is still the owner and original administrator.
When you changed the username and website address, in accordance with the Change a Blog Address support page, you evidently chose the option described as follows:
You can create a new username and account. You will need a separate email address to choose this option. If you create a new account, both your current account and the new account will be added as administrators to the blog.
Making this choice resulted in two administrators, the original and the new one.
Since foundyetalwayslost is still the owner and original administrator, you’ll have to log into the foundyetalwayslost account, and transfer the website to the foundyetneverlostaccount as described in the support page Transferring a Site to Another WordPress.com Account.
When that is accomplished, you’ll then log into the foundyetneverlost account and remove foundyetalways lost from the Users. -
When that is accomplished, you’ll then log into the foundyetneverlost account and remove foundyetalways lost from the Users.
If you get that far, and this last action fails, please add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar here to call for staff attention.

Deleting the email associated with it does nothing to change the status of the account.
I should have said that it did nothing positive toward achieving your goal in this case. Presumably the deletion of the email address associated with the owner/registering administrator of the site would eventually result in some action by WordPress — though I’m uncertain what– and might compromise yourability to transfer the website, and remove the original adminstrator, as I’ve outlined above. Hopefully not, if you act soon.

@ parassharma992,
The OP is referring to WordPress.com websites on WP.com accounts, not WP.org account/sites, and therefore has no access to cpanel, my php admin, or a sql database. -
Hi musicdoc1,
Thanks for your help.
I have just recovered the foundyetalwayslost email address but when I log into the foundyetalwayslost account on wordpress.com it only allows me to see foundyetneverlost in the “my blogs” section, so it won’t let me transfer the blog.
How do I add a modlook tag to get the staffs attention?

Hey there,
I need some clarification so I can help further.
I see one WordPress.com site: foundyetneverlost
The site has two WordPress.com users:
foundyetneverlost and foundyetalwayslost
Right now, foundyetalwayslost is the owner of the site.
If you would like me to remove foundyetalwayslost from the site, let me know, and I can get the ball rolling.
If you have another goal, please let me know.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know.
I’ve removed foundyetalwayslost from the site. Now, when you log into WordPress.com as foundyetneverlost, you should see the site under My Sites, and foundyetneverlost will be the sole owner of the site.
Take a look and let me know how that works out for you! Thanks so much :)
