Edit and View of blog page did not match. Please help

    When setting up the latest page on my blog the content did not space correctly even though I had used several inserted lines to get to look right.

    The whole page, there are heaps of line breaks in the Edit View of the Post and those gaps are not reflected in the Published view. I was trying to make it read better, and putting breaks in to break up the paragraphs didn’t seem to do anything. Particularly starting at the paragraph, ‘From experience and observation of the world…’ the breaks just are not there. So the Published view is more difficult to read, since the ideas are not clearly separated. Basically I gave up trying to format it and just published it to retain a sense of timeliness.

    I have posted before and this has not been a problem, so I thought it might be the new platform. This is an experiment for me which I would like to become a regular blog, but I have to get over some of these hiccups first.

    Hi Liz!

    So, the issue here is the HTML formatting, which you can see in the Text Editor (as opposed to the Visual Editor). Here’s a snippet of the text there:

    All of those miscellaneous “div” tags are causing an issue with the layout. I would suggest going into the Text Editor and removing every div tag. Then, going back in and trying to reformat the piece in the Visual Editor.
