Edit biographical info/remove it from search

  I’d like to edit my biographical information somehow, but I can’t find where to do this! When people search for my blog on Google.com, the default page shows the following error “This user hasn’t shared any biographical information”. See http://darrylmiles.wordpress.com/author/vtdarryl/

  What am I (obviously) missing?

  You need to fill out your Profile. Go to Dashboard->Users->Profile and fill it out there.

  Hi there,

  I have “About you” but no where to edit biographical information.

  About You is it. That’s where your biographical information goes.

  Yes, I’ve filled that info in. However I still get the error of “This user hasn’t shared any biographical information” above. I read somewhere else it might be a legacy item on wordpress.com, and maybe the theme I’m using is hard coded to use it somehow…

  Hmm, it SHOULD pull that in automatically, and I’m not looking at a cached version. One more thing: have you put any bio at Gravatar.com? That might be where it’s pulling from now. If that doesn’t work, then I think this has to be reported as a bug.

  Yes, will report it as a bug as I’ve filled in the gravatar.com info too (going through all of it’s items too). A bunch of other blogs seem to have the same error too.

  Yes, it’s an error in the theme you’re using. You can report it in the Themes forum.
