Edit blog page on sela theme

    I have the blog page on my sela theme website appearing as the latest posts.

    Is it in anyway possible to customise this so I can have some fixed text appear above the blog posts, to introduce the blog and it’s purpose?

    You can “hard code” some text above your blog posts in using a CSS hack. :) Here’s an example: 

    .blog .content-area::before {
  content: "Here is your intro text. Put whatever you like here. Here is your intro text. Put whatever you like here. Here is your intro text. Put whatever you like here. Here is your intro text. Put whatever you like here."
}

    Great, thanks Kathryn. Is it possible to space out the text and the first post that follows? i.e. the text sits a little close to the post preview.

    Also, how would I go about applying formatting to the text?

    Sure, try adding this to insert some space above the first post.

    .blog .site-main {
  margin-top: 20px;
}

    Also, how would I go about applying formatting to the text?

    You can add CSS formatting to the earlier code I gave you. For example, you can change the colour and size by adding another line to your existing CSS, like this:

    .blog .content-area::before {
  content: "Here is your intro text. Put whatever you like here. Here is your intro text. Put whatever you like here. Here is your intro text. Put whatever you like here. Here is your intro text. Put whatever you like here.";
  color: #bb00bb;
  font-size: 20px;
}

    Change the colour and size to whatver you prefer.

    If you’re editing the existing code to add in the new lines, be sure to add a semi-colon after the first “content” line.
