edit box not showing the post's texts

    Hi there!

    I cannot see the text of my posts in the edit box, nor the pics that I inserted in the text. If I select the text (e.g. using ctrl+A) I can see the text appearing it in pale blue. What is more, the edit text menu has disappeared.

    Puzzling because I have three blogs and this is happening only to one of them.

    Did anyone have the same problem?

    Hi Anna, yes I have the same issue. I cannot seem to edit or even create a new post. I can save the post and display preview, but without the “text tools menu”, I cannot format. I’ve also noticed that some of the tools on the right side of the Create/Edit Post screen do not work, e.g. Create Tags, Recommendations, etc. Mike

    1. log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.

    2. If #1 doesn’t work, go to users > personal settings and make sure “Disable the visual editor when writing” is NOT selected.

    3. What browser and browser version are you using?

    4. Have you tried a different browser to see if the issue is browser related?

    cache and cookies cleared: it works!!

    thank you for you help, I had been stuck for 3 days… and this with the ‘speed’ and ‘reliability’ of south-east asian connections was driving me crazy.
