“Edit Comments” page without e-mail address showing

  Is there any way to keep my e-mail from appearing in other bloggers “Edit Comments” page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  On this page > Settings > Discussion we individual bloggers set up our comments.

  ___Comment author must fill out name and e-mail

  E-mail me whenever
  ___ E-mail me whenever Anyone posts a comment
  ___ A comment is held for moderation

  Before a comment appears
  ___Before a comment appears An administrator must always approve the comment
  ___Comment author must have a previously approved comment

  If you leave a comment on a blog set up for anonymous commenting then your email address is not required. However, I dare say that the vast and overwhelming majority of bloggers I know do do not allow anonymous commenting. If they did their blogs would be mercilessly trolled and spammed and those troll and spam comments would be automatically posted to their blogs.

  So the alternatives are:
  (1) comment only on blogs that allow anonymous commenting;
  (2) get second “throw-away” email address and use it for commenting.

  You’re welcome. May I ask why you are concerned about the email address you registered to get a blog with being known?
