edit content area through admin?

  Hi there,

  Is it possible to add a ‘content area’ to the side menu which can be edited through the admin?

  You can use a text widget, which it editable by clicking on the icon on the right end of the text widget box under presentation > widgets.

  Most times when I want to format text for a text widget, I do it in the write post editor and when I’m satisfied with it I then switch to code view, copy all of it to my clipboard and then paste it into the text widget.
