  After I edit a page, such as taking out writing that is for some other page, I can’t get the new change to stick. It still shows the writing on the page that I tried to edit. I find WordPress to be extremely confusing and frustrating for blogging. I spend hours toggling back and forth and do not obtain the results I want. How do I get helpful guidance?

  Make sure you are running a browser and version of it found at http://browsehappy.com.

  On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the helpful step by step Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/

  The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also on the bottom of your Admin page.

  I recommend:

  1. Always create your posts on the dashboard of your own blog at
     Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
  2. Immediately after creating a post and entering a title click the save draft link. Thereafter, “click save draft” frequently.
  3. Always allow pages to fully load before clicking any other links.
  4. Never leave a post or page open for content creation or editing and walk away from it, or open another tab in the same blog and work on something else while it is still open. Save it properly and return to edit it later.
  5. Use an offline blog editor so you have backups on your own computer http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/

  For recovering lost pages and posts:
  Provided you did not create the post in the new Beep Beep Boop editor where it’s saved only on your browser, and is not auto-saved to the servers for your blog you can recover lost posts or pages.

  If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be.

  (c) Exactly what you experience including what any error reports you receive state.
