Edit CSS on theme previews

My blog is WP server hosted, using Andreas09 theme, CSS edits enabled
    (http://groksurf.wordpress.com/)

I can preview CSS edits to my own theme and I can preview other themes but I’d like to be able to preview CSS edits on previewed themes.

In other words, I’d like to be able to preview other themes and play with their CSS before deciding on one. Is there any way of doing that, short of enabling another theme first? I don’t want to subject readers to a morphing page by experimenting that way.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There’s no way to do that, but you may register a “test” blog that you keep private and where you try out various design ideas before making them public.

@husdal Thanks, good idea, I’ll give that a try.

On a related note, I’m using ChaoticSoul with a custom CSS. I don’t like how it displays various lists (headline only, I’d like to at least see a teaser). If I make a switch to a different theme and then decide I don’t like it, can I switch back to ChaoticSoul and have everything as it was? In other words, does changing a theme lead to irreversible changes?

    Thanks,
    Bill

CSS is theme-specific. CSS edits in one theme will not work in a different theme. Before switching themes, save the CSS edits as a text file, and paste them back when you switch back.
